can't take credit for the idea...but it sounds fun.

Here's how you play

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory of you. it's actually pretty funny to read the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

yay! have a great start to your weekend! ;)

All the memories with Mel! Of course kickin it at the casa was awesome, but you forgot to mention eating cartons of Tagalongs! I will never forget your true to life Britney song and dance! You are so freakin funny! I miss hanging out and laughing, we need to do a girls night soon! My most favorite memory I have of you was getting to sit with you in Relief Society (back row of course) when I was a new member to the church, I remember totally feeling like I was a cool kid because I was hanging out with you!!! You are such a wonderful person, and I miss having you around to give me a good smile! Love you and I hope to see you VERY soon!

What can I say of my Mel...
I was totally surprised and very overjoyed to see that Ms. Mel had visited my families blog. It has been a long time.
My most favorite memory of Mel is being at her baptism July 28th, 1999. How can a missionary forget such feelings to see an investigator fight for so long to get baptized despite such odd and opposition, and then finally...one day see her get the greatest desire of her heart. I showed her picture to the Aaronic priesthood of my ward to show how some people of the world have to fight to have the gospel.
The visions that flash through my brain as I think of Mel...Me and her in a picture I have just before that baptism, my dirty knees from weeding in her mothers muddy flower garden, her calling out 'Hey Elders!' from across GPHS's parking lot and across Warrior Parkway my very first day in the area with me thinking..."What danged teenager would have the guts to admit she knew the missionaries much less call out to get their attention in front of their entire high school marching band?". Mel of course.

Much love Mel, keep true to the faith.
Brother (and once Elder) H.

Favorite memory of SISTER BLODGETT!!!! There are just so many. Probably the time we chatted in the parking lot at the Denton Stake Center and I learned a lot about sacrafice, passion, conviction, and harship. I think I will always remember that and always wonder at the trials one person was asked to face to follow something she was committed to. Very inspiring moment.
